"Programs like this help strengthen our communities, growing respectful and dignified leaders who enhance our workplaces, community groups and other community-focused organisations and activities. I would encourage anyone with a desire to be an effective leader to apply for this invaluable opportunity," he said.
Empowering local leaders
Cr Rochelle Halstead, Mayor Bass Coast Shire Council said, "We're excited to be partnering with South Gippsland Shire Council on this fantastic program. Supporting leadership skills and development is a win-win. It's great for the person involved and it is fantastic to have those skills in our communities."
"We're looking for applications from anyone who has a real passion for their community and would benefit from this program.
