A planned fuel reduction burn will occur at Jepson Court, Mirboo North on 12 December 2025; residents should avoid the area, take care with smoke, and follow VicEmergency updates.

A planned burn off is scheduled at Jepson Court, Mirboo North on Friday 12 December 2025. The CFA, in conjunction with South Gippsland Shire Council will be conducting a planned fuel reduction burn to reduce fuel loads at Jepson Court, Mirboo North.

On the day, please:

Avoid driving into the burn area.

  • Be aware of fire trucks, slow moving vehicles and firefighters in the area
  • Take care on the roads - smoke could create dangerous driving conditions
  • If you have respiratory issues, stay indoors
