Strength through unity

Violence and hate have no place in our country. It is vital that political leaders at every level work together on the critical issues before us and uphold their responsibility to keep our community safe and protect the freedoms and values we hold dear. Gippslanders are no strangers to adversity – from bushfires to storms and floods, we face hardship by standing together. This terrible event is a different kind of darkness.

In times like this, we need to stay united, look out for one another, show kindness, and support anyone who may be feeling vulnerable or afraid. We must rebuild together by strengthening mutual respect, tolerance and rejecting anything that threatens and divides the people of our nation. With support and respect.
