Roses, relaxation, revelry

Latrobe City Council Mayor, Councillor Dale Harriman, said the Rose Garden Festival is a fun and free day out for everyone. "I encourage you to head along to the Rose Garden Festival, to see the beautiful roses in bloom, enjoy the warmer weather and experience the joy of the Festival."

"The Festival in the heart of Morwell showcases over 4000 roses, all lovingly nurtured by volunteers. Event experiences include local talent, producers and performers from Gippsland and beyond, with a focus on gardening, sustainability, handmade or homegrown treasures."

"We estimated approximately 5,000 people attended last year's Festival, making it a significant contributor to the visitor economy," said the Mayor. For more information about the Festival, visit the International Rose Garden Festival Morwell website.
