Integrated planning framework
The draft Financial Plan 2025 - 2035 links to the achievement of the Community Vision and the Council Plan within the Integrated Strategic Planning and Reporting framework. This framework guides council in identifying community needs and aspirations over the long term (Community Vision), medium term (Council Plan) and short term (Annual Budget).
The draft Asset Plan links with council's Community Vision, Council Plan and Financial Plan. The Plan compares the allocated asset renewal funding against the renewal funding required to renew council's assets. The draft Plan outlines the status of council's infrastructure asset portfolio in terms of quantity, value, condition state, funding needs and allocated funding.
The draft Road Management Plan balances community expectations for service and risk management with the ability of council to fund the operational costs associated with this draft Plan. Road, car park, bridge and pathway assets should provide a level of service that is fit for purpose for the community in accordance with the Council Plan, Asset Management Policy and Asset Management Strategy.
