Temporary ferry passes

Residents do not need to take any action, as passes will be delivered safely by mail. These interim arrangements respond to community feedback and will remain in place while Council develops a new sticker-based pass system, to be introduced from August 2026.

Mayor Cr John White said the temporary measures aim to ensure fairness for both property owners and renters while we transition to a new system. "Council has listened to the community and is working towards a fairer ferry pass system. We’ll be inviting community input before the new sticker-based pass system is introduced in the 2026/27 financial year," he said.
