Phillip Island hosts a huge October of events, headlined by the 2025 MotoGP, drawing 100,000 fans for racing, music, and entertainment, with free Community Day tickets and Cowes transformed into an entertainment hub.
Phillip Island is revving up for an action-packed month of October, packed with marquee events across Bass Coast, including the Rip Curl GromSearch Phillip Island, the Australian SUP Titles, and the headlining MotoGP from 17 October to 19 October 2025 at the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

The MotoGP Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2025 will once again bring tens of thousands of fans to the island for three exhilarating days of racing, live music, and family-friendly entertainment. Highlights include the local favourite Community Day, where Bass Coast residents can enjoy free entry, and the Cowes Entertainment Precinct, transforming Thompson Avenue into a hub of music and fun. Plus, there are free tickets up for grabs!

Thompson Avenue in Cowes will remain the entertainment hub and will be filled with live music and entertainment with the BMW Superscreen showing race footage, rider interviews and movies throughout the weekend to keep the party going. Highlights include performances from Nashville's World on Tour, Rehash Cover Band, and Oz Rock Express.
Road closures will be in effect from Thursday, 16 October, at 7:00 AM to Monday, 20 October, at Midday, with Thompson Avenue closed from Chapel St to The Esplanade and The Esplanade closed from Warley Ave to Bass Ave. Only motorcycle parking will be available along Thompson Ave, creating a family-friendly MotoGP experience in Cowes.
