Men's shed funding

Following successful applications to the 2025-206 Men's Shed Funding Program, Sandy Point Community Men's Shed will receive $20,000, while the Loch Sport Men's Shed has been granted $23,714. Mr O'Brien said it was great to see both sheds recognised for the important role they play in supporting local men and their communities.

"Men's Sheds are one of the most valuable grassroots programs we have in regional areas. They provide a welcoming space for men to connect, share skills and support one another. I'm delighted to see both Sandy Point and Loch Sport sheds receive this well-deserved funding to enhance their facilities."

"Supporting Loch Sport to get funding to build their shed initially was one of the first things I was able to do as an MP and it's great to see them still growing. This is another great example of local community groups working hard to deliver positive outcomes for their members and their towns," Mr O'Brien said.
