Garlic Festival fun

Expect to find an impressive chef line-up for the Festival Kitchen, and food vendors selling whacky garlic creations including garlic donuts and garlic beer (don't knock it till you've tried it). There’ll be plenty to keep your crew amused throughout the afternoon with a huge entertainment roster, and kid’s activities including an appearance from Bluey. Whether you hanker to buy it, grow it, cook it or simply devour it on the spot – this is the event for you.

Follow the heady aroma to Korumburra Showgrounds where almost 100 stallholders, featuring garlic products and growers from around the state, will be on hand to fill you in on the huge array of garlic varieties, how to cook ‘em up and even grow your own at home.

Garlic Festival returns

This year's festival brings back the wildly successful Garlic Street, where Aussie growers like Garlic Kingdom, Pure Garlic, Garlic Essentials, and Southern Cross Garlic will sell their premium fresh Aussie garlic, with plenty of garlic for enthusiasts to take home.

The Festival Kitchen stage will welcome back chefs Atsu Tanaka-Morrison from Tsuko Japan (Korumburra), Jodie Odrowaz and Michael Clark from Messmates Dining (Warragul), Alejandro Saravia from Farmers Daughters (Melbourne), and introduce Italian maestro Francesco Laera from Trulli (Meeniyan).

The Garlic University, an educational hub headed up by the Australian Garlic Industry Association, will also be back, with presentations by industry authority Penny Woodward, amongst many others to be announced, and include presentations on small farms and commercial growing.
