Renewable future Gippsland
Deputy Mayor of Wellington Shire, Councillor Cindy Madeley, said the event comes at a transformative time for the region. "Wellington Shire has long recognised the enormous potential of renewable energy not just to address climate change, but to create lasting economic and social benefits for our communities."
"This sector will shape the future of Gippsland, and we're committed to ensuring our region is ready. With more than $40 billion in planned investment across Gippsland, this transition is happening now, and we must continue to lead with purpose."
"The Gippsland New Energy Conference reflects the growing momentum across our region. What began as a two-day event is now a multi-day celebration of innovation, progress and opportunity and we're proud to be part of it," Cr Madeley said.
