Direct support from council

Councillor Nathan Hersey, Mayor South Gippsland Shire Council said, "The Community Grants Program is a great way for the community to receive direct support from council. While council has contributed $130,000 to these 26 projects, the value of them is $495,000 - a fantastic return on investment."

"In this latest round, the projects range from facility and recreational upgrades to the purchasing of much needed equipment, all of which make South Gippsland a better place to live and enjoy."

"I strongly encourage community members to consider applying for the next round of applications and take advantage of the sessions held by council. Applications for round two open on 1 January 2023." Councillor Hersey said.
