Mr Chester said, "Engaging directly with regional leaders is incredibly important, particularly in the lead-up to the Federal Budget. It provides a strong platform for Gippsland’s industry and community representatives to advocate for the investment we need to grow our economy, strengthen our communities and improve liveability."

Mr Chester said One Gippsland continues to play a vital role as the region’s peak advocacy body. "One Gippsland brings together government, business and community voices to ensure our region speaks with a united and coordinated voice," he said.
