Exploring South Gippsland's Thriving Manufacturing Scene: A Tour with councillors and the Executive Leadership Team.

By news@gippsland - 24th August 2023 - Back to News

Yesterday, councillors and council's Executive Leadership Team headed out on a tour of some of South Gippsland's fabulous manufacturing businesses. Manufacturing is essential to South Gippsland. Our region is home to many successful manufacturing businesses including food processing, engineering, building and fabrication. Collectively, this industry contributes around 18 per cent of South Gippsland's economy.

Council extends gratitude to GEM Industrial, Burra Steel, Burra Brewing Co, and Schreurs and Sons for generously taking the time to give us a tour of their establishments
