Bass Coast Local News: Kilcunda Community ForumBass Coast Shire Council will hold a community forum at the Kilcunda Community Hall By Carol McCormack - 3rd September 2002 - Back to News Tell us your opinion See what others have said Bass Coast Shire Council will hold a community forum on Wednesday 11 September from 7pm at the Kilcunda Community Hall.
The Forum will be an opportunity for members of the community to talk with Councillors and staff in an informal setting. The evening will include displays as well as group discussion.
"Like previous community forums we are asking people to contact Council prior to the evening if there are particular issues they would like to discuss," said Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council. "That way we can ensure there is a Councillor or staff member on hand to answer questions, or we can make it a topic for small group discussion."
Cr Gains explained that the issues people raise may be specific to Kilcunda or Shire wide.
The Kilcunda Community Forum is part of Council’s regular community forum program. Held on the second Wednesday of every second month, the forums provide an opportunity for the community to talk with Council in an informal setting.
The evening will conclude with an informal discussion and light supper. To nominate topics for the community forum or to RSVP, please contact Coral Jones on 5671 2211 or 5951 3311.
