Understanding level of services
Latrobe City Council Mayor Cr Kellie O'Callaghan said the survey results provided useful feedback for council to understand what levels of service the community are happy with and areas to work on. "Council would like to thank our residents who took the time to complete the Community Satisfaction Survey as the results are extremely valuable. We are proud to see our cultural facilities, libraries, local roads and recreational facilities scoring highly."
"Significant investment has been made in this space with the development of the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre and expansion of the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium. Council will reflect on the areas for improvement including parking facilities and the appearance of public areas."
"Several projects, that address some of these areas, are currently underway including the Regional Car Parks Fund in partnership with the Victorian government, and our City Presentation Maintenance Survey that will guide service planning," said Cr O'Callaghan.
