Opportunity to get involved

The sessions are a wonderful opportunity to get involved with community consultation opportunities or to learn more about the major projects council is undertaking for our region's future, such as our Warragul and Drouin Bypass advocacy initiative, or the Baw Baw Culture and Connection Precinct. All residents are invited to come along to their nearest Pop-up and meet face-to-face with councillors and officers to share ideas, raise concerns, or ask questions.

Mayor Cr Michael Leaney said, "Council Pop-ups are such a fabulous opportunity for residents to meet directly with councillors and staff, to discuss the issues that matter to them. Speaking on behalf of the council, they are something we really look forward to. We learn a lot from our direct conversation with residents at these sessions."

"I invite residents from Thorpdale and surrounds to join us for this year's first session on 17 March and look forward to catching up with locals from right around the shire as we take council on the road again this year." Cr Leaney concluded.
