The Library and Learning centre is the first stage of the Baw Baw Culture and Connection Precinct and will feature dedicated children's and teens sections, maker's space, video gaming, reading rooms and study areas as well as providing a mix of services and facilities including:

  • Arts and cultural presentation space
  • Visitor Information Services
  • Community meeting rooms
  • Consulting rooms
  • Co-working spaces
  • Cafe
  • Public terrace area
  • Public amenities such as a parent's room and Changing Places facility

Mayor of Baw Baw Shire Cr Annemarie McCabe said, "We'd like to invite you to attend a free Community Conversation session about the Library and Learning Centre. It will be an opportunity for you to tell us what you think is important, and to hear what we've been learning from others in the community. We want to show you what we've been planning and confirm that we are getting the mix of facilities and services right."
