East Gippsland Water teams up with Southern Rural Water to promote National Water Week primary school poster competition for October 2022
East Gippsland Water is partnering with Southern Rural Water for this year's National Water Week primary school poster competition - with gift vouchers and fun science-based prizes up for grabs!
The National Water Week primary school poster competition is open to all primary school students in the East Gippsland region. This year's poster theme is 'Our water stories' - a fantastic opportunity for kids to demonstrate their knowledge of local water issues uniquely.
All primary schools in the area have received an email inviting them to take part with the closing date for entries on Friday 2nd September
Building awareness and knowledge
Prizes include science experiment kits for the best posters, with schools receiving a $200 voucher to help with an environmental project. In addition, this year all schools entering the competition will be entered into a free prize draw to win a $300 voucher provided by Southern Rural Water.
National Water Week runs from 17 - 23 October and aims to inspire individuals, schools, and communities to work together to build awareness about our most precious resource. The poster competition is a fantastic opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge of local and future water issues creatively.
Join the competition
All primary schools in the area have received an email inviting them to take part. The closing date for entries is 4 pm on Friday 2nd September, with the winners of the competition to be presented with their prizes during National Water Week itself.
