National Agriculture Day 2025 is celebrated on Friday, 21 November with this year’s theme: "Stand with the Land." 
Melina Bath said farming teaches hard work, resilience, and respect, producing diverse, world-class Victorian food, fibre, and contributing 25 per cent of Australia’s agricultural output Farming a wayMs Bath said growing up on a dairy farm taught her that each sunrise means constant work, resilience and respect for the land and animals. "Every day, our farmers combine planning, innovation and determination to produce world-class food and fibre. Farming is more than a job - it’s a way of life and farmers don’t just work the land - they live, love and enhance it." "Victoria’s agriculture industry delivers incredible diversity - dairy, beef, lamb, pork, chicken, crops, eggs, wool, and a growing range of niche agrifoods for both domestic and international markets. As Australia’s largest agricultural producer, Victoria contributes about 25 per cent of the nation’s output. It employs more than 150,000 people, including 73,000 in primary production and 77,000 in food and beverage manufacturing," Ms Bath said.
