Baw Baw Shire community satisfaction surveys will end by mid-March 2023

Households in Baw Baw Shire may soon receive a phone call inviting participation in community satisfaction surveys as part of the Victorian government's annual program.

Researchers from National Field Services have begun seeking community feedback by reaching out to a random selection of Baw Baw residents. The program will run until mid-March when 400 valid responses are received. The information gathered will inform a range of performance measures and identify areas of improvement for more effective service delivery.

The results of the Community Satisfaction Survey are used by council to better understand community needs in relation to its services

Providing valuable insight

All resident details and individual responses are strictly anonymous. Only overall results are shared so that council may gain a better understanding of community satisfaction with its services. Results from the annual satisfaction survey will be published on council's website and included in council's Annual Report. Mayor Cr Annemarie McCabe said, "Each year, the community satisfaction survey results provide council with valuable insight into areas where we are performing positively and where we can look to improve our service delivery for our residents."

"Last year we were pleased to report an increase in our overall performance rating, with our highest performing areas in customer service, art centres and libraries, appearance of public spaces and waste management. We pride ourselves on continuous improvement and look forward to seeing the results as they are released." Ms McCabe said.
