Gumbuya World kicks off summer fun with Oasis Springs reopening and family-friendly GumBOOya Halloween extravaganza

From November 1, Gumbuya World Theme Park will throw open the gates to Oasis Springs, marking the official start of an exhilarating splash season this spring and summer. The water is back, the thrills are cranked up and the scares are sneaking in across Melbourne Cup Weekend with the annual GumBOOya Halloween extravaganza on October 31.

Spooks, slides, smiles

GumBOOya is family-friendly Halloween at its finest - think more treats than tricks, more giggles than screams. Perfect for families with younger children, guests can carve pumpkins, meet friendly spooky characters, enjoy trick-or-treat trails and ride the rollercoasters including the fan-favourite TNT Dress to distress for the chance to win the ultimate summer party prize - including a cabana with full service or a private group wildlife experience.

Then from Saturday November 1, Victoria's favourite summer playground is back - and Gumbuya World is the only water theme park in the state where you can slide, splash AND meet incredible wildlife all in one day. Oasis Springs brings eight epic water slides, 300 metres of pure relaxation on the Lazy River, and the wonderfully chaotic Typhoon Island - where getting completely soaked isn't just expected, it's guaranteed.

Whether you're lounging in a private cabana with family and friends (complete with optional food and drink service) or riding the waves with your little ones, there's endless fun to be had at every turn.

Wildlife, water, wonder

This summer, Gumbuya World's unique offering truly shines with roaming wildlife encounters throughout the park. Gumbuya's wildlife rangers will bring resident creatures right to guests - expect surprise visits as you queue for slides, relax by the wave pool, or explore the grounds. It's an experience you won't find at any other water park in Victoria. From the moment guests arrive, they'll encounter Gumbuya's famous wildlife ambassadors greeting families at the entrance, setting the tone for a day which will suit the whole family.

Oasis Springs delivers aquatic adventures for every mood and moment. Adrenaline junkies can conquer slide after slide, while those seeking serenity will find their happy place floating along the meandering Lazy River. The heated Rock Pools offer the perfect spot to unwind between adventures, and Surf's Up provides endless opportunities to chase that perfect wave.

While Oasis Springs steals the spotlight this season, the Wildlife Trail, Outback Explorers and Oz Adventure continues to deliver year-round enjoyment. Thrill-seekers can tackle TNT, the family-friendly rollercoaster that's become a park favourite, while animal lovers can enjoy intimate encounters with more than 70 species - all just 50 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.
