Update On Fires In Gippsland - Tuesday, 20 November 2007 – 1600Hrs

The Black Jack Gully fire in far East Gippsland has been contained at half a hectare and is now being blacked out.

Two new fires have been reported at Bass Track in the Tamboon State forest, seven kilometres south west of Cann River and on private property at Lambournes Break, five kilometres north east of Bruthen.

Eight firefighters and two slip-on units are attending to the Bass Track fire and another eight firefighters, with two slip-on units and a first attack dozer are on their way to the Lambournes Break fire, which is close to public land.
