Council Staff Celebrate Milestones
Bass Coast Shire Council has recognised the contribution of a number of staff who served more than 10 years, at a special presentation.
Staff members were presented with a certificate and pen by Bass Coast Mayor, Cr Neville Goodwin.
A number of the staff began their service with the previous shires of Wonthaggi,
Council’s Chief Executive Officer, Allan Bawden, acknowledged the dedication and commitment given by staff over their terms of service with Council.
"The knowledge and experience of staff who have worked in the community for this length of time is an invaluable resource for both Council and the community," he said.

Council’s Community Safety Manager, Peter Laydon received an award acknowledging the work of his team on the Community Safety Plan, which was recently adopted by Council.
