Business support wanted for Latrobe City Main Streets four-day event with $2,000 gift card giveaway from 18 to 21 May 2023
Latrobe City celebrates Main Streets of Australia Week with a four-day event, including a Shop Latrobe City campaign and a $2,000 gift card giveaway, local businesses can participate.
During Main Streets of Australia Week, Latrobe City Council, along with the local business community, will join to celebrate main streets and town centres across Latrobe City. From Thursday 18 May to Sunday 21 May 2023, council will be running a Shop Latrobe City campaign, including radio broadcast, newspaper advertisements and social media awareness. This event is accessible to all streets and town centres in Latrobe City.
All streets and town centres in Latrobe City can participate in the council's campaign from 18 to 21 May 2023, and a chance to share in $2,000 worth of Latrobe City Gift Cards for the community
Business involvement encouraged
To say thank you to the community for getting involved and shopping local, council will be giving the community the chance to share in $2,000 worth of Latrobe City Gift Cards during the four-day event.
Local businesses can get involved in many ways, such as by developing a sales offer, providing discounts, value-adds and exclusive experiences or giveaways. To participate, your business must be in Latrobe City. Local businesses are encouraged to register their interest by Main Streets Australia Week Business Registration page.
Celebrate Main Streets
Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Councillor Kellie O'Callaghan, said she encourages all local businesses to participate. "Over 250 businesses registered for last year's Shop Latrobe City campaign and it was a huge success for all involved."
"Main Streets of Australia Week is a time to showcase the hardworking retailers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs that make our main streets vibrant and thriving places. By joining in the campaign, you will have a chance to showcase your business, create local spending, build connections and provide safe spaces," said the Mayor.
