Improved Way to Communicate with Council – It’s as Easy as ‘Snap’
‘Snap Send Solve’ phone app to make sending feedback for community members easier.
Community members can report issues and provide feedback to Latrobe City Council at the click of a button through the ‘Snap Send Solve’ phone app.
‘Snap Send Solve’ allows locals and visitors to submit a report in 30-seconds to Council on an extensive range of issues from graffiti through to stray animals, litter, tree blocking a road, parking and everything in between.
Latrobe City Council Mayor, Cr Dan Clancey said the technology allowed community the ease of being able to report an issue as soon as they discovered it.
"Our community are the ears and eyes of our regional City. This app allows individuals to directly contact us as soon as they come across an issue, whether it is when they are out and about driving around our municipality and come across stock on the road, they could ‘snap’ and ‘send’ it to Council," Cr Clancey said.
"It is that easy and the most efficient way to notify Council of issues that need addressing in our community. You simply take a photo on your phone, confirm your location on the map, add a few words to describe the problem and hit ‘send’.
"Latrobe City Council is focused on improving its customer service processes and responsiveness to customer needs and expectations. This app is not only a great step forward in terms of online customer service options, but a chance for us to start having more conversations with more people more often."
As the holidays approach, Council encourages community members to download the app for free from the Apple ‘App Store’ or ‘Google Play’ which will enable issues to be reported during the office closure period from Wednesday 25 December through to Wednesday 1 January 2020.
