By news@gippsland - 19th November 2025 - Back to News Regional communities across Eastern Victoria will soon benefit from improved walking, cycling and other important transport links, thanks to the Allan Labor Government. Member for Eastern Victoria, Harriet Shing today announced that four high priority regional bus stop shelter projects in Gippsland will share in more than $1 million in funding for small-scale transport projects delivered by local councils and community organisations.

benefit from this new wave of funding. The Flexible Local Transport Solutions Program has supported more than 200 projects across Victoria that will better connect communities. These projects will help promote an active and healthy lifestyle, while also providing more options for locals to get to school, public transport and recreational centres."
