Improving local transport

The Labor Government’s Flexible Local Transport Solutions Program provides funding to help seed small-scale initiatives across Victoria that meet local transport needs, integrate with other local transport options, and improve transport access.

Regional Bus stop shelter enhancements across Lake Tyers, Willow Grove, Sale and Heyfield are set to
benefit from this new wave of funding. The Flexible Local Transport Solutions Program has supported more than 200 projects across Victoria that will better connect communities.

Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing said, "We’re backing local projects that make a real difference for communities across Eastern Victoria because we know that better connections means better opportunities. These projects will help promote an active and healthy lifestyle, while also providing more options for locals to get to school, public transport and recreational centres."
