Rosedale Recreation Reserve gets $280,000 lighting funding from Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program
Lighting infrastructure at Rosedale Recreation Reserve will be upgraded with funding from the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program.
Local MP Darren Chester inspected the reserve with Wellington Shire Council Mayor Ian Bye and said the new lighting will provide more efficient, sustainable and cheaper operations for user groups. "The $280,000 project will replace existing infrastructure on the main oval with new poles and LED fixtures providing 100 LUX in line with the AFL guidelines," Mr Chester said.

"The current infrastructure is outdated and doesn't illuminate the ground well enough for evening training sessions and games." Mr Chester said. The community is providing $20,000 towards the project and Wellington Shire Council are managing the works.
