Regional Assemblies firm-up community priorities
To help Gippsland communities realise identified priorities, the Victorian budget provided funding for job-creating projects.
The second Gippsland Regional Assembly will convene in Sale on August 16. Priorities identified during the 2016 Regional Assemblies included greater investments in roads and rail, better digital connectivity, greater investment in tourism and improved early-years programs. To help Gippsland communities realise identified priorities, the Victorian budget provided funding for job-creating projects that include including the Gippsland Destination Management Plan to bring more jobs and more tourism to Gippsland.Agribusiness Gippsland's Paul Ford is Deputy Chair of the Gippsland Regional Assembly.
