Empowering podcast workshops
Cr O'Callaghan said, "The library has a brand-new studio with state-of-the-art equipment and we want our community to learn how to use it. We know there are stories to be shared and ideas to be broadcast and these workshops are the perfect way to ensure that individuals and groups can investigate podcasting as a channel for their voices."
"The workshops will be facilitated by the library team and will cover the basics of what a podcast is, sessions to plan and how to record, edit and release podcasts. The library setting is a safe, inclusive, friendly space where learning is for everyone. We are excited to bring this new opportunity to our community," she said. Podcast Workshops will run at:
- Moe Library
- Wednesday evenings
- 19 and 26 July
- 2 and 9 August
- 5.30pm to 7.30pm
The workshops are free, but places are limited. Bookings are required. For more information and to book, visit Podcast Workshops page or your local library branch. No previous podcasting experience is required, the library team will guide community members through all aspects of podcasting.
