Maintenance services
Latrobe City Council is encouraging community members to complete a community satisfaction survey to give their feedback on the City Presentation maintenance services such as:
Infrastructure maintenance
This service provides the community with safe access in and around the community through the maintenance of key infrastructure including:
- All sealed and unsealed roads and roadsides
- Drains
- Signage
Open space maintenance
The Open Space Maintenance service aims to improve visual attractiveness, community wellbeing and tourism of the municipality through:
- Providing safe, accessible, appropriate, and clean non-organised sporting recreation spaces
- Town-centre streetscapes to facilitate play, commerce, and functional public spaces for the community
- Public furniture, BMX and skateboard parks and playgrounds
Recreation liaison and sporting reserves
Providing sport and recreation and community stakeholders with:
- Outdoor reserves
- Maintenance of sporting surfaces
- Associated facilities and amenities
- Safe and appropriate spaces for outdoor sporting and recreation pursuits
Results from the survey will help guide service planning for these areas and identify what needs are currently being met.
Completing the survey
The survey is available to complete at the Community Satisfaction Survey web page and hard copy versions will be available at council's customer service Centres. Community members have until 19 September to complete their survey.
Cr. O'Callaghan said, "Each survey will only take a few minutes for community members to complete but gives us a wealth of information for our services. We look forward to reviewing the feedback so we have a clear picture on what areas our community loves and understanding where we can improve. This is one way our community can have their voice heard. I hope many people are able to take the time to complete a survey."
