Latrobe Performing Arts 2017 season program launched
Hard copy brochures for our year of live performances are now available from the Latrobe Performing Arts box office, following a successful launch of the 2017 season program last week.
Latrobe City Council’s coordinator venues and performing arts, Kathleen Roberts, said the program offered a wide variety of music, dance, comedy and drama performances."Each year we select a suite of shows and performers that we hope will touch the creative souls of our community. We have a diverse community. We offer a correspondingly diverse program.
"We celebrated the season launch with performances from Double the Black, Khristian Mizzi and Jayden Hicks who provided a sample of the quality we’ve come to expect for our audiences," Ms Roberts said.
"Our LPA membership program, now in its eighth year, has developed a strong reputation as a value for money product and we’ve also introduced three subscription packages to cater to all tastes. You can choose from Sweet Soiree, Classic or On Stage depending on your tastes. You can benefit from the cost saving that subscriptions deliver, as well as knowing that you’re booked in for some artistic treats during the year.
"We love to see you at our shows. We love to see your enthusiasm, to share your enjoyment of the arts, to know that you will come away from a production inspired or hopeful or thoughtful or simply happy. That’s our goal each year, and 2017 is no exception," Ms Roberts concluded.
Pick up a brochure at the box office or visit www.latrobe.vic.gov.au/lpawhatson for more information on the 2017 season, membership or subscription packages.
