Safe & Strong Latrobe Executive Leadership Forum
Focus on gender equality and prevention of family violence in the business sector at Latrobe Executive Leadership forum.
The Safe & Strong Latrobe Executive Leadership Forum brings together executive leaders from large Latrobe City organisations to build the capacity of executive leaders to:
- Be champions of change for gender equality and the prevention of family violence in their workplaces and
- Build the capacity of their workplaces to implement policies and initiatives which embed gender equality and the prevention of family violence in their business.
We have also been working with a change agent group with representatives from organisations such as Gippsland Water, Australian Paper Maryvale, ASIC, Latrobe Valley Bus Lines, AGL (Loy Yang), Energy Australia (Yallourn), Maryvale Private Hospital and Latrobe Community Health Service to implement the Workplace Equality & Respect Standards alongside existing gender equality and prevention of violence strategies and initiatives.
The project has successfully brought together these organisations to share knowledge, experience, learnings and the practical application of strategies and activities related to gender equality and the prevention of violence against women.
We are joined by guest Speakers Ro Allen - Commissioner for Gender & Sexuality and Rebecca Hodges, Executive Director People & Culture Ambulance Victoria.
