Launch of International Rose Garden Festival Morwell
What: Launch to be conducted by Latrobe City Council and event major sponsor AGL.
Who: Latrobe City Council Mayor Cr Dan Clancey; Senior Manager, Stakeholder Engagement AGL, Renee Kurowski; and Friends of the Garden chairperson Del Matthews.
When: Wednesday, September 16 at 10.30am.
Where: Morwell Centenary Rose Garden, corner of Commercial Road and Maryvale Crescent, Morwell. Meet at the rotunda in the centre of the garden.

The 2020 International Rose Garden Festival Morwell will be held on November 14 and 15 – as a hybrid of an online, virtual event with a night lights installation at the garden. This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Online, visitors will be able to navigate a map of the Morwell Centenary Rose Garden and click on events and activities.
Workshops, music, children’s entertainment, stalls and garden talks will be run online as free, interactive events.
The festival will showcase Gippsland food and wine producers and local musicians. Festival host Latrobe City Council will soon be announcing this year’s special guests.
The AGL Mid-summer Night Lights Installation in the Morwell Centenary Rose Garden will be held on the Saturday and Sunday evening.
The festival will be viewable on a phone, tablet or computer via the festival website www.irgfm.com.au
