Gippsland Water offers face-to-face bill help at pop-up sessions across Latrobe, Baw Baw and Wellington
Gippsland Water will hold pop-up sessions across Latrobe, Baw Baw and Wellington, offering face-to-face help with bills, flexible payment options, concessions and support for customers facing cost-of-living pressures.
Gippsland Water customers can speak face-to-face with customer care team members about their water bills at various pop-up events over the next few months. The sessions will take place at different locations across the Latrobe, Baw Baw and Wellington areas from July to September.
Customers can chat to customer care representatives, like Sarah, face-to-face over the coming months
Supporting customer community
Acting managing director Nic Moss encouraged customers to attend a session if they have questions about their bills or would like to find out about the support available. "We know that people in our community are feeling the pressures of the rising cost of living, and we want them to know we're here to help."
"Customers will see our team in shopping centres and libraries across the region offering private consultations. Customers can bring their bill to any of the sessions and get help on-the-spot. Our friendly team members can discuss your situation and find an option that suits you, as well as answer any general questions about your bills," Mr Moss said.
Flexible payment support
The team can set up flexible payment plans, register concessions, help apply for government-funded assistance schemes and give referrals to financial councillors. Pop-up sessions will run from 10am until 2pm and are scheduled for the following locations:
- 15 July, Traralgon Centre Plaza
- 22 July, Traralgon Library
- 29 July, Mid Valley Shopping Centre, Morwell
- 30 July, Warragul Community House (10.30am to 11.30am, then morning tea)
- 5 August, Moe Library
- 12 August, Drouin Library
- 19 August, Warragul Library
- 26 August, Gippsland Centre, Sale
- 11 September, Morwell Library
