By news@gippsland - 10th August 2026 - Back to News ABC Kitchen Cabinet host Annabel Crabb was spotted in Lakes Entrance this week filming alongside Member for Gippsland Darren Chester. Mr Chester has confirmed he will appear in a future episode of the popular ABC series but was remaining uncharacteristically tight-lipped about the menu. "Gippslanders will have to tune in to ABC television to see my recipe but it does showcase locally-sourced fresh food. I'm proud of everything Gippsland produces and this was a chance to promote a few of them." 
ABC Kitchen Cabinet host Annabel Crabb was spotted filming in Lakes Entrance this week alongside Gippsland MP Darren Chester In the latest series of Kitchen Cabinet, Annabel visits six very different members of Australia's 48th Parliament, gaining a unique insight into the people behind the politics. Together they cook a meal, share a conversation, and Annabel brings dessert. Kitchen Cabinet screens on ABC at 8.30pm each Tuesday with the first three episodes featuring Anthony Albanese, Angus Taylor and Allegra Spender now available on iview.
