Council is directly reaching out to affected property owners and residents, and others to ensure they are aware of the proposed changes in Pioneer Street, Foster Traffic Proposal
Pioneer Street, Foster traffic proposal
Due to significant traffic and safety concerns in front of the Foster Primary School and the new kindergarten, council is proposing a 12-month trial to make part of Pioneer Street one way.
We are proposing a 12-month trial to make part of Pioneer Street one way, which is in line with requirements under the Road Management Act, but we want to see if it will pass the pub test. If this proposal is supported by the community, the trial will aim to start in time for the beginning of the 2023 school year.
For your feedback and information, please visit One-Way Proposal for Pioneer Street Survey page. Feedback will close on Sunday 8 January 2023.
Prizes will be awarded in categories and images needed to capture this year's Australia Day theme, which is 'Australia Day: Reflect, Respect, Celebrate. We're All Part of the Story'
