Letter from the director
Bec Cole - Latrobe Regional Gallery, Director of creative arts
It has been so fantastic to see our community’s response to Da Vinci Machines. Over the past month we have welcomed over 4,000 people to the Gallery, many who have not visited us before (or haven’t visited LRG for many years).
It’s really exciting the see the Gallery brimming with people once again, and to hear how much they have enjoyed Da Vinci’s marvellous machines. One of my favourite things to do is to talk to visitors about what has inspired them. I’ve had lots of great conversations about the engineering feats that have shaped the Valley - so I am learning something too!
If you can, please join us for the closing celebration on Friday 23 April. I really enjoy meeting our members and supporters and hearing about what you’d like to see and do at the Gallery. Everyone is welcome.
