Tough Thriller ‘Red Hill’ To Screen At Latrobe Performing Arts CentreThe tough Aussie movie ‘Red Hill’ (MA15+) will screen at the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre on Monday 18 April at 7pm, as part of the National Film & Sound Archive’s Big Screen Film Series. By Latrobe City - 5th April 2011 - Back to News Written and directed by Patrick Hughes, and starring Ryan Kwanten from ‘True Blood’, Steve Bisley and Tom E Lewis, ‘Red Hill’ is a hard-hitting thriller that follows a young police officer (Ryan Kwanten) as he relocates to the small country town of Red Hill with his pregnant wife to start a family.
His first day on duty rapidly turns into a nightmare when news of a prison break sends the local law into a panic, and a convicted murderer serving life behind bars returns to the isolated outpost seeking revenge.
Latrobe City’s coordinator performing arts and venues, Kathleen Roberts, said that Latrobe Performing Arts Memberships were still available and that members could receive two complimentary tickets for ‘Red Hill’ and other films in the National Film & Sound Archive’s Big Screen Film Series.
"The 2011 annual membership program offers discounts on selected performances, complimentary film tickets as well as member draws. At just $20 per adult, $15 concession or $60 corporate, the membership program is great value for theatre patrons.
"There are also six complimentary drinks from the bar each year and with some blockbuster movies and shows on the calendar for this year, a membership makes a great gift or personal treat," Ms Roberts said.
‘Red Hill’ (MA15+) will screen at the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre on Monday 18 April at 7pm. Tickets can be booked at the Box Office on 5176 3559. The bar will open from 6pm.
