Sale of Davis Court reserve in Leongatha as per Local Government Act 2020 proposed by South Gippsland Shire Council
On 16 August 2023, Council proposed selling part of Leongatha's 6A Davis Court reserve, area 1,125m2, to adjacent landowner for consolidation. Submissions accepted until 20 September 2023.
Council at its ordinary meeting held 16 August 2023 proposed to commence statutory procedures to sell part of the reserve 6A Davis Court, Leongatha being Res1 PS330962W, with an area of 1,125m2 to the adjoining landowner for consolidation for not less than a valuation received within six months prior to the sale, pursuant to s.114 of the Local Government Act 2020.
Submit views on land sale by 5:00pm, Sep 20, 2023, to CEO, 9 Smith St., Leongatha. Submitters can speak in support
Land sale submission
A person may make a submission to the proposed sale of land. Submissions are to be received no later than 5.00pm Wednesday 20 September 2023 addressed to the CEO, 9 Smith Street, Leongatha Vic 3953. Any person making a submission is entitled to be heard in support of the submission.
If a person or a representative wishes to be heard in support of the submission, they must state this in their submission. Copies of the submitter's name and address will be disclosed at any public Council meeting at which the proposal will be considered. If no submissions are received, the proposal will be implemented.
