The park is fully booked over the summer holidays, but with weather warming up and daylight savings already here, this is a fantastic time of year to get a sneaky camping trip in without the crowds. The glorious national park abounds in so many things to do: from wondrous hikes past turquoise waters, secret coves, and cruises that take in the immense Skull Rock. 
At Tidal River campground, nestled in tea tree hinterland, enjoy 500 sites, shared facilities, and local wildlife like wombats and vibrant crimson rosellas in a natural paradise Wilsons Prom campingNestled amongst tea tree hinterland or on generous grassy reserves, you can hear the waves crashing from your campsite. The Wilsons Prom campground is located at Tidal River. The large campground easily swallows almost 500 powered and unpowered sites and has excellent shared facilities - multiple toilet and shower blocks, and also a laundry and convenience store. You may have to share your Wilsons Prom camping expedition with some of the Tidal River locals - wombats can be found en masse at the campground, alongside their brilliantly-coloured crimson rosella and lorikeet friends. Camping at Tidal River immerses you in a natural paradise, leaving you in the heart of the action to enjoy the stunning park. Things to doEmbark on an ambitious Wilsons Prom hike or a family-friendly walk. Try Tongue Point Walk or set out for the Lightstation for a challenging hike, or set off for a tamer adventure on Mt Oberon Summit Walk or the Tidal Overlook Walking Track. Take one of the Wilsons Prom Cruises and see The Prom from the ocean, taking in seal colonies, secret beaches and stunning rock formations, like the legendary Skull Rock. 
Explore Wilsons Prom through challenging hikes like Tongue Point or Lightstation, scenic cruises, and beautiful beaches like Squeaky Beach and Norman Bay, plus kayaking on Tidal River Discover stunning beaches, from Australia's #1 beach in the Tourism Australia 2024 list, Squeaky Beach, to hidden beaches like Fairy Cove, or the perennially-popular Norman Bay Beach with its wide expanse of golden sand, perfect for cartwheels or a family cricket bash.
