The first Australia China Agribusiness Conference being staged by the Gippsland Agribusiness Forum to promote, develop and enhance trade from Gippsland with China has received a major boost with recognition and support from the Australia China Business Council.

The Hon. Mark Vaile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade will officially open the Conference on November 8 and the Ambassador for China Madam Fu Ying has been invited to respond.

The aim of the Conference is to bring to top 300 or so Chinese decision makers in agribusiness to the conference and expose them to the benefits of Gippsland agribusiness.

An extensive post conference tour of Gippsland agribusinesses is planned and the conference organisers Gippsland Agribusiness Forum are keen to hear from businesses that would like to meet these decision makers.
