By Susan Webster - 25th May 2009 - Back to News

Latrobe City Council and Agribusiness Gippsland Inc are inviting landholders from across Gippsland to a session examining some of the options.

  • The session will examine leasing your land for secondary income.
  • An experienced agritourism operator will share his advice.
  • A regional agribusiness leader – and diversified farm operator – will offer her insights into the short-term future for the sector.

From 10am to noon on May 27, you will get insights and share valuable lessons in smarter land management.
Agribusiness Gippsland Inc (AGInc) is supporting the council's inaugural agribusiness function.
AGInc chair Alex Arbuthnot said: "This is a ground-breaking forum looking at secondary income off your landholding. No matter how big, or how small; lifestyler or large landholder, this morning offers insights from people who know.
"You've invested in your land, now invest two hours to leverage that landholding."
The free event at Nambur Wariga Room at Latrobe City Council,
141 Commercial Road, Morwell, includes morning tea. Please register for catering.
