Latrobe City kindergarten enrolment 2024 starts on 1 May 2023Starting from May 1st, 2023, enrollment for three and four-year-old kinder in 2024 will commence, and it will end on June 30th, 2023. The link to register for 2024 kinder online will be accessible from May 1st onwards. By news@gippsland - 26th April 2023 - Back to News Latrobe City Council three and four-year-old kindergarten enrolments for 2024 will open on Monday 1 May 2023. Preferences are offered at all 25 Latrobe City Council preschools; however, places will be dependent on enrolment numbers. If your child turns three or four-years-old before 30 April 2024, they can be enrolled in kindergarten.

Churchill Preschool will host their open day on Tuesday 2 May from 4pm to 6pm. Social distancing requirements have restricted us from hosting our usual kindergarten open days. We have created online tours to enable you to 'virtually' walk-through each of Latrobe City's preschool facilities. You can also view kindergartens virtually on council's Kindergarten Virtual Open Days page. "There are many benefits to your child attending kindergarten, such as increasing their social skills, improving their development, language, literacy and numeracy skills. Families also benefit from their children attending kindergarten, as they have the opportunity to meet other families, create community connections and access other community services," said the Mayor.
