GDL is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Murray Lobley and Stephen Bell as project officers and GDL resources to further support Gippsland industry groups in programs such as clustering, region wide strategic planning and development.
Under the GRDS 2010 (Gippsland Regional Development Strategy) GDL will continue to focus on the seven targeted industry groups, Dairy, Energy and Energy Education, Engineering and Manufacturing, Fishing and Aquaculture, Horticulture, Timber and Tourism. In addition to these groups GDL provides the regional project manager for VEEM, Victorian E-Commerce Early Movers project.
The team has been allocated to these industry groups as follows: Murray - Energy, Energy Education, Engineering, Horticulture and Timber Stephen - Dairying, Tourism, VEEM, Aquaculture and the GDL website
Our CEO Mr Rod Cheatley will shortly be visiting industry bodies with new team members to introduce them and provide for a smooth transitional process. With the Gippsland Industry Summit on Friday February 23rd 2001 the next few weeks are very busy and important for Gippsland industry.
