New Fire Information Line For Gippsland Residents

A new Gippsland Community Fire Information Unit has been established

A new Gippsland Community Fire Information Unit has been established at the Traralgon Department of Primary Industries office for the Gippsland region. This unit is jointly managed by CFA and DPI staff and the police. A community advice line has been set up here for anyone affected by the fires to obtain information relevant to their situation.

This number will give people information on every aspect of the fire situation in Gippsland, bushfire preparation and planning and further contacts that they might need.

The number is 1800 668 066 and will be operating from 8.00am today.
