A New Jobs and Volunteering Hub for Gippsland
New job opportunities for Gippsland locals with new job hub.
Gippsland locals will be better connected to a range of employment and volunteering opportunities with the launch of the second stage of the Gippsland Jobs Hub, supported by the Andrews Labor Government.
Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing today welcomed the launch of trending ‘industry and volunteering’ sections and a mobile app of the Hub by Gippsland’s Local Learning and Employment Networks, supported by $123,000 from the Labor Government through the Latrobe Valley Authority.
Employers of all sizes are being encouraged to add their job listings to the site – a free and effective way to promote local job opportunities, attract high quality applications, and create a talent pipeline for future job openings.
Jobseekers both in and outside of Gippsland can now easily search or browse through hundreds of local job opportunities, as well as access career news, events, online resources and industry trends.
Organisations looking to recruit volunteers can also post their opportunities on the Gippsland Job Hub - connecting them with outstanding candidates and people who may not have considered volunteering as an option.
The project is a partnership between Gippsland East, Baw Baw Latrobe and South Gippsland Bass Coast Local Learning and Employment Networks with the aim of better connecting organisations, job seekers and volunteers across Gippsland.
For more information, visit the Gippsland Jobs Hub at www.gippslandjobshub.com.au or download the app.
