Gippsland Jobs Expo at Traralgon Town Hall on 27 March 2024
Latrobe City Jobs Expo connected job seekers directly with employers. Attendees explored genuine openings, discussed apprenticeships, and charted career paths within Latrobe City and the surrounding region.
Latrobe City Council is excited to welcome the Gippsland Jobs Expo back to Latrobe City in 2024. The Expo will be held at:
- Traralgon Town Hall on the corner of Breed and Grey Streets in Traralgon
- Wednesday 27 March
- 9:30am to 2:30pm
This event is an opportunity for job seekers to explore current job vacancies in Latrobe City and surrounding regions. It caters to a variety of job seekers from school students and graduates to seasoned professionals, as well as individuals considering a job change.

Top Latrobe City and Gippsland employers from a broad range of industries will be in attendance to showcase job openings, provide industry insights, and host valuable workshops. The Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Councillor Darren Howe said that the Gippsland Jobs Expo is an opportunity for job seekers to network with potential employers and make their first step toward getting a job.
"Latrobe City supports almost 30% of total jobs in the Gippsland region and is an area that has a diverse workforce. The combination of major employers, the City's regional significance, and affordable housing make Latrobe City a centre of opportunity for both individuals, and families."
"Hosting events like this to the region is important to the council because it supports potential employees, promotes job growth, and helps shape the region's economic future. I encourage anyone who is interested in a new job to come along and explore what options are available," said the Mayor.
Jobs expo registration
The workshops will cover different job seeking topics such as how to improve your resume and interview skills and future jobs for the Region. There will also be a free sausage sizzle for attendees to enjoy!
