Celebrating 30 years of Opera Australia's national touring program, this milestone production offers local audiences the rare opportunity to experience world-class opera close to home. For one evening, the GPAC foyer will be reimagined as a vibrant Italian piazza, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere and elegance of Italy.

Widely considered one of Mozart's greatest works, the opera follows the notorious Don Giovanni - a charismatic libertine whose reckless pursuits lead to a dramatic and chilling downfall. Opera comes regionalThis performance features a talented cast of Australian and international performers, under the musical direction of conductor Simon Bruckard. Audiences can expect powerful vocals, striking staging and a compelling theatrical experience. The opera will be performed in Italian with English subtitles.
