Leongatha pedestrian bridge

The newly constructed pedestrian bridge at the Leongatha railway precinct is now open for public use, marking a significant milestone in the area's redevelopment. This bridge enhances connectivity within the precinct, linking the main street with the railway station and providing a safe, convenient passage for pedestrians.

The Bridge is part of the Leongatha and Korumburra Rail Precincts Redevelopment Project which is funded by the Australian government's Building Better Regions Fund, Victorian government's Regional Infrastructure Fund and South Gippsland Shire Council.

It is set to become a central point for community activities, enhancing the overall experience for residents and visitors alike. This new facility is funded by the Australian government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program and South Gippsland Shire Council.
