South Gippsland Shire Council is informed of a data breach involving OracleCMS, the provider of its after-hours phone service. Investigations are ongoing, with no compromise of council customer data reported yet.
South Gippsland Shire Council has been notified of a data breach of OracleCMS. OracleCMS is the contractor that operates council's after-hours phone service. While OracleCMS and government agencies are still investigating the breach, we have been advised that so far South Gippsland Shire Council's customer data has not been compromised.
